Master Lock Adjustable Trailer Coupler Lock Review- Video
Today on our trailers, we're going to take a look at the Master Lock adjustable trailer coupler lock, part number 2847DAT. Let's go ahead and see what it looks like on our trailer. Here we have our stainless steel lock rod and tumbler. As you can see, the tumbler is in a nice rubber-coated housing. We open the cap on it and we can open up the key and tumbler inside. What's really nice about it having a cap is it's going to help keep out that dirt, dust, debris, and especially moisture and will prevent corrosion over time. Provided with the lock is also two keys. We can take the key, rotate the tumbler, and remove the lock rod. more

Blaylock EZ Lock Trailer Coupler Lock Review BLTL-34- Video
Today on our trailer, we're going to take a look at the Blaylock EZ Lock coupler for locking a 2-5/16 lift coupler, part number BLTL-34. The Blaylock lock can be keyed alike with other Blaylock push button locks. This lock is designed to fit 2-5/16 balls. The main body of our housing is an aircraft grade light weight aluminum construction which is extremely strong and will resist the wear, tear and corrosion. Going up though the center of the housing is our steel pin that will slide into the hitch ball opening to prevent removal of our lock. Today, on our trailer, we'll take a look at the Blaylock EZ Trailer Coupler Lock for 2 inch Lipped Couplers, Part Number BLTL-36. The Blaylock lock can be key to like with other Blaylock push button locks. You'll notice the build up inside the lip. It doesn't allow for full, rolled lipped couplers, only the flat lipped couplers that it can slide over. Not only will this lock the trailer coupler to help prevent from being stolen, but it will also lock it to the ball when it is mounted behind our vehicle. This lock will come with two keys that could also be keyed alike with other locks, so that they can all be used with the same key. Today we're going to be taking a look at Bulldog Adjustable Coupler Lock part number, BD580410. This coupler lock offers us six different positions when it comes to locking our coupler in place. The first one allows us about 2-7/8" worth of room. Each click is a different position, all the way down to about 3/4". It has a covered lock tumbler, prevents the dirt, rust and dust from getting in there and we've got two keys that have a nice coated finish to them. The lock itself also has a coating around it. Today we're going to be taking a look at the DeadBolt BLOCKHEAD. This is a very neat style coupler lock. It's available in a few different styles. The one you have here today is part number TCL3-YL. It's for the flat lip style of trailer coupler. It fits 2- to 2-5/16-inch balls. Part number TCL1 is available for the 1-7/8 inch and the 2 inch with the standard lip as we have here. We also have part number TCL2 which is for the 2-5/16 or 2 inch with curved lip or that little bit thicker lip. That's also available in a HiVis finish like we've got here. Today we're going to be taking a look at the DeadBolt Stainless Steel Trailer Coupler Lock. The one I have here has the 7/8ths-inch span. Part number is RC6SS. This is also available in a half-inch span, part number RC2SS. A stainless steel lock, it's going to offer a twist-to-lock style, very safe and very secure. As you can see, we just turn our key, that unthreads there, we can pull it apart. The important thing about these locks and the reason they're so important to have with your trailer, is because this can really help keep an unattended trailer from being attached to your vehicle or an unattended vehicle and trailer combo from being separated, so it's going to keep your items safe. Today we're going to be taking a look at the DeadBolt Trailer Coupler Locks. These are designed in a few different sizes. We have here part number 7691 that has the 2 inch shank. 7692 has the 2 and a half inch shank and it goes all the way out to the 3-3/8 inch shank here, which works great for those surge styled brakes. That part number is 52012. Now, it couldn't be easier to use, our locks. Of course we've got our key here in the end, holding the key, turning the lock, as you'll see here at our connection point there, it's going to allow that to unthread. more

I pulled a coupler that fits on a 2 5/16-inch hitch ball just to demonstrate how this lock would work, and again basically as you can see it has the rolled or flat lip right here all the way around, so basically you would just put this over that. more

Demo-master-lock-locks-2847dat Today were doing a review of the Master Lock Adjustable Trailer Lock part number 2837 DAT. This lock comes with all stainless steel parts to prevent rust and corrosion. The pin has a built in notches to walk around the barrel lock. The pin diameter is a quarter inch. It will fit the 5/8 standard couplers and from one inch to 2-5/16 ball couplers. The lock works like this; simple take our pin, run it through our coupler latch and we will take the barrel lock and slide it on. more
